- For starters, all facilities will receive twice a day delivery service. No organization will ever be more than a few hours away from the next delivery time slot.
- STAT deliveries and first dose upon admission deliveries are handled in a number of different ways. First, we make every effort to reroute those deliveries to the top of the list which in most cases solves the problem.
- The other option of STAT deliveries is to use one of the 19 retail pharmacies across the State owned by the LTC parent company. We control them so we can direct them as well when necessary.
- Another option for skilled nursing facilities as well as correctional facilities is to install a Robotic Dispensing Unit into the facility. Controlled by the pharmacy and under the direction of the nursing director of the facility, we can allow nursing staff to enter their codes into the unit to dispense specific medications on a patient by patient basis.
